Here at VT our goal as Latin Link is to connect and uplift the Latinx student community. Our Familia program strives to connect all of our members via a big-little style buddy program. Whether your an incoming freshman looking for a mentor, someone interested in joining and learning about the culture, or someone looking for a friend Big-Little is an amazing opportunity for connection. Latin Link strives to make this an efficient, detailed, and fun process. With around a month of opportunity leading up to the big reveal youll be able to get to know everyone, and be able to make your choice of Big.

WHENS MY FIRST DAY
Big littles first day is September 23rd!! This is our interest meeting, see above for a full list of all Big Little events !
HOW DO I SIGN UP ??
There is no sign-up sheet, if you’re interested just show up to our interest meeting and you will already be counted! However, you need to show up to at least 3 B/L events NOT including the interest meeting to be allowed to get a Big or a Little.
WHAT DO WE DO ??
The Familia program will take you through roughly a month of networking, and meeting new friends. Youll be quized and tested by an array of carefully tailored GBM’s designed to show your true colors. At the end you make your top choices for Bigs and LIttles, and based on responses and compatability your paired with your brand new Big or LIttle.
HOW DO I KNOW WHO TO CHOOSE ??
Our hope is that after a months worth of events, weve given you enough information about everybody that you can make a educated decision. When its time to choose, you get to make your top 3, and of those 3 the one thats meant for you will be chosen.
WHAT IF THEIR NOT MY FIT ?
After everything is said and done we believe that relationships grow and evolve over time. If for any reason you want to change your big or your little, or if either of them leave, then you will have access to an adpotion form. This form is official documentation of your change in Familias. But choose wisely as you only get one !
HOW LONG IS IT ??
Part one is choosing your Big. This is a unique, roughly month-long experience. Aftwerwards you can look forward to a sweeter college experience. Guided by everyone you chose, your familia is for life.
